Paul Strand was an American photographer and filmmaker. He helped establish photography as an art form in the 20t century. Paul was born in New York in 1890. When he was 17 he started taking photography courses. In 1915 was when his career changed because he began to discover the intrinsic capabilities of the large format camera. From there and on his career went far, he went to school, did some films, and went around the world taking pictures. The 3 pictures below are my favorites that he took.
I love this picture because the little girl looks adorable but she also looks confused and doesn't know whats happening in the world right now.
