Ansel Adams

Ansel Adams was a photographer and an environmentalist. He was known for black and white landscape photos of the American West. He took some really great photos and it inspired me to take some landscape photos too. What I like best about my photos are that look like a professional took them and love that you can edit them to make it even more beautiful. For this assignment my only problem was finding a spot to take my pictures, but other than that I had fun. I think I could improve on finding a better spot to take the pictures. I could of gone to the boulevard and taken some better pictures. This assignment really helped how to take landscape photos and I had a lot of fun.

He was born September 26, 1874 and died November 3 1930. Hine took pictures of a lot of kids during his lifetime and it really shows how the days were back then.

I like this picture because it shows how the farms looked like during the Great Depression.

I like this picture because of the building. Its very old fashioned and the streets are empty and calm.

I like this picture because it reminds me of church. It looks completely different than from the ones now.

Ansel Adams

Ansel Adams was a photographer and an environmentalist. He's known for his black and white landscape photos of the American West. He was born on February 20th in 1902 and dyed on April 22 1984. Down here are my 3 favorite pictures that he took.

I like the way the snow looks on the mountains because it reminds me of powdered sugar on pastries.

I like this picture because you can see the marks of the river on the rocks.

I like this picture because of how the light of the sun cuts through the cloud and light up the mountains.

Harlod Ederton took pictures of shutter speed. They are really cool because (example) if you jump and take a picture you can see them in the air. Down here I took pictures of Alexis jumping and they are my favorite ones, they look really cool. The steps I took to take theses pictures was I had Alexis jump up and I would take the picture. I did have some troubles with this assignment because sometimes when she would jump I wouldn't take the pictures fast enough. How I could improve my images is not make them blurry. Some of the pictures I took came out blurry and you couldn't see them. What I learned from this assignment was shutter speed and how to use it.

Paul Strand took pictures of shadows a lot. Most of his pictures are of shadows, so I went outside and took some pictures of shadows that I could find. Below here are my tree favorite ones.

I like this picture because it looks like their dancing and they are really into it.

I like this picture because it looks like the flower is almost ready to blossom.

I like this picture because it looks the one on top and it bloomed into a beautiful flower.

Close Up Shots

Imogene took close up of flowers and it inspired me to take some close ups of flowers too. What I like best about my images are that they look beautiful in color and even better in black and white. I didn't have any problems with this assignment. I actually thought it was fun taking close ups of these beautiful flowers. I think I could of improved on taking better close ups, I could of found a better angle to take these pictures. This assignment taught me how to take close up pictures with flash and it has been my favorite assignment that we have done do far.
